Sourced from a single vineyard at the base of Rutherford’s western bench, vibrant notes of black cherries, mulberries, cassis, tobacco, loam, baker’s chocolate, and spiced toffee give way to an expressive mouthful of red and black fruits, blueberry cobbler, crushed gravel, bay laurel and wildflowers. The mid-palate is framed by dusty, fine-grained tannins, with a refined and elegant finish that speaks to the wine’s rooted origins.
